F. Lorraine Liddell

F. Lorraine (Rothwell) Liddell, age 85 years, died in the Epoch Senior Healthcare Center in Sharon, Massachusetts on Monday, March 24, 2014. Born in Dedham, Massachusetts on October 8, 1928, she graduated from Dedham High School with the class of 1947. She moved from Dedham to Walpole, Massachusetts in 1950.

Lorraine was employed as an Administrative Assistant by Bird and Son in Walpole for 43 years.

She was a member of the Saint Mary’s Church Altar Committee as well as the Catholic Women’s Club at Blessed Sacrament Church. In addition, Lorraine volunteered her time to help those in need at the Walpole Food Pantry.

She enjoyed tending to her flowers gardens and spending time with her cat, Autumn. She also had a talent for crafts and enjoyed needlepoint, cross stitch, and knitting.

Devoted daughter of the late Frank and Lillian (Myatt) Rothwell Beloved wife of the late Harold "Bud" Liddell also survived by many relatives and friends

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Lorraine’s Life Celebration on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 5-7 PM and Friday, March 28, 2014 from 8-8:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Mary’s Church 176 Washington Street, E. Walpole on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 9 AM. Interment will be in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Boston, 10 Chandler Street, Boston, MA 02116, Attn: Advancement Department.
