EUGENIE M. (Smith) GALLAGHER AGE 95 YEARS DIED AT Caritas Norwood Hospital on Friday, March 17th, 2006. Born September 25, 1910, in East Pembroke, Maine. The daughter of the late Hubert L. & Emma Jane (Small) Smith. Raised in Norwood and graduated from Norwood High School with the Class of 1928.

A resident of Walpole.

Mrs. Gallagher had worked in the cafeteria at Pondville Hospital for over 30 years.

She was the Walpole area Avon Lady for 45 Years and a member of the Oldest Living Cancer survivors group for 40 Years

Beloved husband of the late Bernard L. Gallagher Loving mother of Jean Cannata of Stoughton Cherished grandmother of Charles Cannata, Linda Cannata both of Stoughton, David Cannata, Paula Cannata both of North Attleboro and great grandmother of 6 Sister of Ralph Smith of Derry, New Hampshire, and the late Elsie Dorman, the late Julian Smith, the late Russell Smith, the late John Smith, the late Lawrence Smith, and the late Hubert Smith Also survived by many nieces and nephews

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 @ 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Monday, March 20, 2006 5PM - 8PM . Interment Highland Cemetery Norwood, Massachusetts.
