Ethel J. Marinelli

Ethel J. (Menarchik) Marinelli age 90 years died in the Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts on Saturday, September 15, 2012. Born in McClellandtown, Pennsylvania on April 26, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva (Horwat) Mlinarcik. She graduated from Germantown Township High School in Pennsylvania with the class of 1940. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1961 moving from Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

She was primarily a homemaker, who raised and cared for her family. She did work at Fernandez Supermarket in Walpole for a short period of time.

Mrs. Marinelli was a member of the choir at Blessed Sacrament Church and a member of the Neponset Valley Choral Society.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and was an animal lover. She was known for her fashion, especially her hats.

Beloved wife of the late Robert W. Marinelli, Loving mother of Rita A. Martel of Newburyport and Robert J. Marinelli and his wife Natalice of Walpole. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Martel and his wife Leila of Amesbury. Sister of Helen Delmonico of Miami, FL, the late Stephen Menarchik, the late John Menarchik, the late Martha Chigosh, the late Edward Menarchik. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Saint Jude's Church 86 Main Street Norfolk on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 4-7PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole.
