Mr. Ernest B. Nanez age 82 died in his Walpole Home on Tuesday Morning, August 5th, 2008. Born in Tombstone, Arizona, on November 25th, 1925, to his parents the late Marcus and Marrianna (Bustamante) Nanez. He was educated in Tucson, Arizona, he entered the United States Navy and served his country during World War II.
He came to the Boston area with his brother , who was going to go to school here, he met his wife and never left the area. He married Marie S. Campisi and they raised there daughter here in the Roslindale section of Boston. Mr. Nanez completed three years at the Wentworth Institute in Boston.
He was a retired carpenter for the MBTA.
A member of the American Legion Dedham Post and was very active in the Sacred Heart Church in Roslindale for many years.
A resident of Walpole for the past 32 years moving here from Roslindale, where he and his family had lived for over 20 years.
Beloved husband of the late Marie S.(Campisi) Nanez Loving father of Linda and her husband Thomas Workman of Walpole Cherished grandfather of Andrew Workman of Walpole Brother of Lena Perez, Benny Nanez, Gilbert Nanez , Armeda Nanez all of Tucson, Arizona and was predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Rt27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Thursday, August 7th, 2008 at 9 AM. Visiting hours are Wednesday , August 6th, 2008 from 4pm to 8pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment in Saint Francis Cemetery Walpole.
