Ernest Clifford Harrington

Ernest Clifford Harrington, Jr (Ernie) age 79, passed away peacefully at Charlwell House in Norwood on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 after a battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Ernie was born May 14, 1931 in Cherryfield Maine to Ernest C. and Edna (Bagley) Harrington. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War and retired from Bird Machine in Walpole

He enjoyed fishing, gardening and a good game of horseshoes. He was best known for his sense of humor.

He is survived by: Wife Angie (Eno) Harrington, known to most as Cathy and five children. Ernest C. (Kip) Harrington III, Scott D. Harrington and wife Kim, Frank Harrington and wife Vickie, Diane (Harrington) Heath and husband Joe and Eugene Hanley.

As well as his grandchildren - Cassandra, Stephanie, Alex, Arianna, Amy, Amber, Ashley, Abigail, Adrianna, Frank Jr., Joshua, Nicholas, great-grandchildren, and siblings- Clifford, Eleanor, Astrid, and niece Addie-May.

Predeceased by a wife Marjorie (Tarchea) Brother Bill. Sister Marge

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation on Friday, December 11, 2009 from 11AM to 1PM , followed by a funeral service at 1PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment in Saint Francis Cemetery, Walpole.
