Eric Charles Bubly

Eric Charles Bubly, age 56, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016, surrounded by his family after losing his battle with Alzheimer's. Eric was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 12, 1960. He is the son of Jacob Bubly.

Eric worked in his father's butcher shop, Centre Street Meatland for many years, eventually taking over the business when his father retired.

Eric married his wife, Maryann, in 1993. They welcomed their son Ross in 1995 and their son Josh in 2001. As a devoted family man, Eric loved traveling with his family. They visited Disney many times as well as taking many road trips to Hershey Park in Pennsylvania. Many weekends were spent in his backyard pool as well as playing baseball and basketball with his boys. Eric was a huge Patriots Fan and an avid golfer.

Eric will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his kindness and loyalty toward both family and friends. He was a man who never turned down a request for help. He took his role as husband, father, son, brother and friend very seriously. He will forever be missed and cherished.

Loving son of Jacob "Jack" Bubly and his wife Deborah of Newton.
Brother of the late Steven G. Bubly.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Eric's Life Celebration on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 4-8 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. Funeral service and interment will be private at the request of his family.
