Elsie E. Johnson

Elsie E. Johnson age 89 years died in the Charwell House in Norwood, Massachusetts on Saturday, July 24, 2010. Born in Walpole, Massachusetts on May 7, 1921; she was the daughter of the late Oskar and Sophie (Koestner) Johnson. She has been a lifelong resident of Walpole, Massachusetts.

She worked at the Bird and Son Box Shop in Walpole for many years, and after her retirement she worked at the A&P in Norwood, and later at the Country Kitchen Coffee Shop in Walpole.

Miss Johnson loved playing bingo, bowling, and swimming.

Aunt of Dave and his wife Mary Lehto of Walpole, Linda Connors of Walpole Allen and his wife Sue Anttila of Falmouth and Lee Lehto of Walpole. Great aunt of Laurie and her husband Michael Moore of Walpole, Lisa and her husband Herb Slack of Walpole, Heather and her husband David Bohl of NJ, and Eric Anttila of NH. Great great aunt of Ryan Moore and Mollie Moore both of Walpole and Emily Bohl of NJ. Long time companion of Edward Fitzpatrick of Norwood.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the graveside service on Monday, August 2, 2010 at 10AM in the Highland Cemetery Winter Street Norwood. Visiting hours are omitted.
