Elizabeth S. Tucker

Elizabeth S. (Steele) Tucker age 84 died in the Harrington House in Walpole on Sunday, May 20, 2007. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on September 28, 1922 to her parents William A. and Lucy (Wheeler) Steele, she graduated from Norwood High School with the class of 1940. She went on to graduate from the Katherine Gibbs School, Boston in 1942. She had been living in Walpole since 1946

Mrs. Tucker worked in the Radio industry for WBZ in charge of the recordings.

She was a member of the Walpole Women's Club and was the Past President, a member of the Board of Directors for the Pond Home for 20 years, a member of the Republican Town Committee, as well as numerous other volunteer groups.

Beloved wife of Theodore F. Tucker Loving mother of David A. and his wife Linda G. Tucker of S. Walpole, Andrew S. Tucker of Conneticut, Cynthia J. Tucker and her companion Andrew D. Moore of New Hampshire, and Kenneth A. Tucker of California Cherished grandmother of Scott D. Tucker and his fiancee Kate Buckley of Colorado, and Kevin A. Tucker and his fiancee Charlotte Bradley of Millis.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Memorial Service that will be held at The United Church in Walpole 30 Common Street Walpole on Thursday, May 24, 2007 @ 11:00 AM. Visiting hours are Wednesday, May 23, 2007 4-8PM at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is private.
