Elizabeth C. Rubini

Elizabeth C. (Piacentini) Rubini, age 86 years, died in the Tippett House in Needham, Massachusetts on Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 17, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Sadie (Pinchieri) Piacentini. Affectionately known as "Bette" to her family and friends, she was raised in Hyde Park and graduated from Hyde Park High School with the class of 1945. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1986 moving from Mattapan.

Bette spent her working career as a clerk in the Assessing Department in Boston City Hall. She retired in October of 1982 with 25 years of service.

She loved life and being on the go. She enjoyed keeping in touch with and spending time with family and friends. She also loved to cook, dance, dine out, shop, and spend summer days at the beach.

Beloved wife of the late Daniel R. Rubini. Loving mother of Lisa A. Rubini of Walpole. Sister of Henry Piacentini of Thompson, CT, Chester Piacentini of Hyde Park and the late Robert Piacentini. Also survived by her loving sister in laws and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church 10 Diamond Street on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 2-6PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole. Memorial donations may be made to: Ursuline Convent, 65 Lowder Street, Dedham, MA 02026.
