Elizabeth C. Peebles

Elizabeth C. (Parslow) Peebles "Betty" age 86, passed away January 22, 2013, after a brief illness. Born in Whittensville, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late George and Evelyn (Hilton) Parslow. She graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1944. A long time resident of Walpole, Massachusetts, Betty was a homemaker for all her adult life raising and caring for her family.

Betty enjoyed reading, crocheting and riding with her husband on his motorcyle with the Retreads. She also enjoyed spending holidays and vacations in her family's homes. Family reunions in Maine were always memoriable weekends.

Beloved wife of the late John Henry Peebles, Jr., Loving mother of Muriel V. and her husband James Ready of Stoughton, Carol M.and her husband Stephen Brodeur of Blackstone, MA, Allan G. and his wife Patricia Peebles of Walpole and the late John H Peebles, III, Mother in law of Karen Peebles of Lebanon, MO.

Cherished grandmother of Kerry Blye, Stephen Ready, Sgt Jason Long, Daniel Long, Elizabeth Peebles and Jack Peebles. (Known as "Gram" to David Blye & Traci Ready) She also has one great-granddaughter, Madison and five great-grandsons, James, Thomas, Owen, Aidan and Maddox, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Sister of the late Raymond Parslow, Ralph Parslow, Donald Parslow, Carlton Parslow, Evelyn Smith, Barbara Allen, and Muriel Shaw.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation Service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 2-6PM. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Rural Cemetery in Walpole.
