Elizabeth A. Manna

Mrs. Elizabeth A. "Bette" (Galloway) Manna age 89 years died in her Walpole Home on Monday, March 16, 2009. Born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 13, 1920, daughter of Hamilton and Annie (Gagon) Galloway. A 1939 graduate of Girls High School in Boston and she attended the Burrows Business School.

A resident of Walpole since 1949 moving here from Dedham.

Retired from New England Power Service which has become National Grid. She worked in Purchasing and Health Benefits and was with them for over 40 years.

Beloved wife of Angelo J. "Andy" Manna Sister in law of Julia Velardo of Tamworth, NH, Veronica Jones of Norwood and Dorothy Joyce of Westwood. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews including the McKenna girls.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Rt 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Friday, March 20, 2009 @ 10AM . Visiting hours are Thursday, March 19, 2009 from 4pm to 8pm at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole . Interment Saint Francis Cemetery, Walpole.
