Elaine M. Bond

ELAINE MARIE (GATELY) BOND age 69 years died in the Brigham & Womens Hospital , Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday, September 2nd, 2006. Born on March 7, 1937, in Boston, Massachusetts , the daughter of the late Charles W. & Jane G. (Collins) Gately. A 1955 graduate of Melrose High School.

Mrs. Bond was a resident of Marco Island , Florida since 1991, moving there from Windham, New Hampshire, where she lived for over 12 years, and before that she was a 20 year resident of Medford, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Bond spent over 26 years as a Translation Clerk @ NYNEX.

Once she retired , she began to live her life to the fullest, enjoying a variety of friends in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Florida. She loved to dance, play cards, walk the beach. However her greatest love was for her four grandchildren.

She is a member of the Telephone Pioneers, and the Marco Island (Florida) Moose Lodge.

Beloved wife of the late William E. Bond Loving mother of Linda & her husband Michael McCaffrey of Walpole and Tricia & her husband Wayne Lewis of Windham, New Hampshire Cherished grandmother of Andrew, Colleen, Katie, and Eric. Sister of Charles M. & his wife Barbara Gately of Glencoe, Illinois. Aunt of Leslie & Jonathan Gately Loving companion of Richard Law of Marco Island, Florida

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Rt 27) Walpole on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 @ 10 AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday Afternoon, September 5, 2006, from 4pm to 8pm at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be private.
