Eileen C. McLellan

Mrs. Eileen C. (Walsh) McLellan age 86 years died in the Maples Rehabilitation Center in Wrentham, Massachusetts on Thursday morning, October 1st, 2009. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on September 17, 1923, the daughter of Martin and Ellen (Connolly) Walsh. She graduated from Cambridge High & Latin School with the Class of 1941. Has been a homemaker taking care of her family.

A resident of Walpole for the past 57 years moving here from Cambridge.

Beloved wife of the late Howard F. McLellan Loving mother of Rev. Daniel McLellan, OFM of Durham, NC , Rev. Michael F. McLellan, St. Johns Parish Canton, Maureen Lovejoy of Canton,CT. Paul McLellan of Gig Harbor,WA, Kathleen Costello of Attleboro, and Christine Edgerly of Wrentham. Cherished grandmother of Christopher and Steven Lovejoy, Caroline and Julie Costello, Mac, Kyra and Meiju Edgerly. Sister of the late Gertrude Murphy and the late John Walsh Also survived by many nieces and nephews

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated by her two sons in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Rt#27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Monday, October 5, 2009 @ 10AM. Visiting hours are Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 3pm to 7pm at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole . Interment will be private.
