Eileen (Lang) Mastromatteo age 85 years died in the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, Massachusetts on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Born in Norfolk, Massachusetts on November 21, 1925; she was the daughter of the late Philip and Amelia (Pescuma) Lang. She graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1943 and later from Kenneth's Hair Design School in Framingham. She has been a resident of North Attleboro for the past 14 years moving there from Franklin, Massachusetts where she spent 50 years.
She worked as a hairderesser for 30 years in Franklin at Moe Hair and as a clerk at Helen's Fashions.
Mrs. Mastromatteo enjoyed cooking and tending to her vegetable and flower gardens. She was an avid Red Sox fan.
Loving mother of Herb Mastromatteo of Walpole, Philip Mastromatteo, Marcia Mastromatteo both of Bellingham, and Carla A. Ma of North Attelboro. Cherished grandmother of Tina, Jackie, Heather, Bryan, Parker, Dianna, Scott, Jamie, Ryan and Evan. Great grandmother of 6. Sister of Earl Lang of Franklin, Donald Lang of Cape Cod, Herbert Lang, Lawrie Lang both of Norfolk, Eleanor Kerridge, Thelma Saucier both of Florida, Georgia Ravinski of Norfolk, the late Philip Lang, William Lang, and Edward Lang.
Visiting hours are Sunday, September 25, 2011 beginning at 2PM and concluding with a memorial service at 5PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole.
