Mr. Edward Francis Sullivan age 92 years died in the Norwood Hospital, Norwood, Massachusetts on Saturday, October 17, 2009, which was his 92 birthday. Born in his parents home in Walpole on October 17, 1917, he was a life long resident of Walpole. A member of the Walpole High School Class of 1935. Edward served his country during World War II in the United States Army.

Mr. Sullivan was a postal clerk for over 32 years in the Walpole Post Office.

Member of Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Norwood Chapter #91 and Charter Member of Walpole VFW Post 5188

Beloved husband of the late Mary A. (Connolly) Sullivan Loving father of Anne M. Robinson of Foxboro, Mary P. Lambi of Norton, and Edward F. Sullivan, Jr. of Blackstone. Cherished grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 11. Brother of the late James Sullivan.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route #27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 @ 10:30 AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 4pm to 7pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Saint Francis Cemetery, Walpole, Massachusetts. Memorial donations may be made to either: National Multiple Sclerosis Society 101 1st Ave Waltham, Massachusetts 02451 or Juvenile Diabetes Research c/o Childrens Hospital 300 Longwood Avenue Boston, Massachusetts 02115.
