Edward “Ed” Lacoste, age 78, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020 in his Canton, Massachusetts home. He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on February 18, 1942 and was educated at the Wrentham State School. He spent more than twenty years living in Walpole prior to making his home in Canton in 2013.
He was lovingly raised and cared for by his foster parents, the late Stephen and Mary Vernosky of Dorchester Massachusetts.
He is survived by his foster sister, Marie Garvin of Mashpee as well as his nieces and nephews, Peter, Stephen, Regina, Gemma, Christopher, and David.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Ed's visitation on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 10 to 10:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Jude's Church, 86 Main Street, Norfolk on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph's Cemetery in West Roxbury.
