Edward J. Forsberg, age 92, died in the Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts on Friday, November 28, 2014. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 23, 1922, he was the son of the late Jean Edward and Mary T. (Ahearn) Forsberg. He graduated from Roslindale High School with the class of 1940. After high school, Edward proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was stationed in the Asiatic Pacific Theater of Operations on board the USS Briareus, taking place in the Philippine Liberation. He was honorably discharged in 1946 as a Shipfitter 1st Class.
