Edmund J. Sybertz

Mr. Edmund J. Sybertz age 79 years died in the New England Siani Hospital, Stoughton, Massachusetts on Thursday Evening May 8th, 2008. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on February 21st, 1929, the son of the late Joseph H. and Helen M. ( Shea) Sybertz.

He began his career as a sheet metal worker for Local 17 in Boston. Where he was a proud member of the union for over 60 years and had actually worked for over 40 years.

He has been living in Falmouth since 1989, and had lived in Walpole 32 years prior.

He loved sports, especially the Red Sox and the Patriots. He loved to walk , to cook, to garden, and to build things large things such as sheds, gazebos, patio furniture. The time he cherished was with his family.

Beloved husband of Dorothy A. (Fulton) Sybertz Loving father of Edmund J. "Ted" Sybertz, Jr. and his wife Sharon Purdie of Sudbury, Carol J. Sybertz and her husband Steve Blendell of NY, Linda J. and her husband Craig Overton of CA, and Marianne and her husband Michael Stanton of Walpole. Cherished grandfather of Kirsten Neves, Sherry and Jeff Sybertz, Kendra Williams, Drew, John and Brian Stanton, and Mark Blendell.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Rt 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 @ 11. Visiting hours are Monday, May 12, 2008 from 4pm to 8pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Saint Francis Cemetery, Walpole. Memorial donations may be made to: Make a Wish Foundation 1 Bullfich Place 2nd Floor Boston, Massachusetts 02114.
