Mr. Edmund J. Peshin age 90 years died in his East Walpole Home on Monday, February 10, 2014. Born in South Boston, Massachusetts on December 21st, 1923, the son of Joseph and Mary (Gudukas) Peshin. Upon graduation from High School he entered the United States Coast Guard and served his country during World War II. One he returned home from the service he worked as a Mechanical Engineer and he retired from Analog Devices Corporation in Norwood. He had moved to East Walpole in 1964.
A member of American Legion Post 318, DAV Chapter 90, Norwood, Coast Guard Combat Assn & Radio Club, ARRL- Amateur Radio Association, Norfolk Radio Association, and Norwood Radio Club. An avid amateur radio operator.
Beloved husband of the late Ruth T. (Lewis) Peshin Beloved son of the late Joseph and Mary (Gudukas) Peshin Brother of the late Mildred Acoin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral that will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Church 176 Washington Street East Walpole on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 @ 9AM . Visiting hours are Tuesday morning, February 18, 2014, from 7:30 to 8:30AM in James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Saint Francis Cemetery.
