Dorothy L. Verrochi

Dorothy L. (Hentschel) Verrochi age 74 years died in the Harrington House Nursing and Rehabilation Center in Walpole, Massachusetts on Monday, December 7, 2009. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on March 4, 1935; she was the daughter of the late Henry F. and Ruth A. (Morse) Hentschel. She was a member of the class of 1953 at Norwood High School. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1955 moving from Norwood.

She worked as a Nurse Aide at the Norwood Hospital for 13 years. In addition she ran Aunties Day Care in her Walpole home and was a crossing guard at the Boyden School in South Walpole.

Beloved wife of Arthur F. Verrochi. Loving mother of Arthur F. Verrochi, Jr. of Wrentham, John A. Verrochi and his wife Patricia, Jeffrey A. Verrochi and Anne Marie Duggan all of Norfolk, Deborah A. Verrochi and Diane R. Verrochi both of Walpole. Cherished grandmother of Nicole and husband Joseph Martin and Ashley Verrochi all of N. Attleboro. Sister of Patricia Cleary of Norwood and Barbara and William Backoff of Walpole. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 10AM.
