DOROTHY E. (ROSS) SMITH AGE 77 YEARS DIED AT THE NEW ENGLAND SINAI HOSPITAL ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON, JULY 29, 2006. Born on September 13, 1928, in Norwood, MA, she graduated from Norwood High School with the class of 1946.

She worked as a secretary for Whitng & Davis Jewelers in Plainville for 6 years.

She belonged to the Good Sam Travel Club and the Creative World Travel Club. She also enjoyed playing Bingo Mrs. Smith loved following all her children and grandchildren playing sports

Beloved wife of 54 years to J. Chauncey Smith Loving mother of Jeffrey & his wife Ann Smith of Groton, Maureen & her husband William Hickey of Farmington, Conneticut, James & his wife Claudia Smith of Georgetown, Robert & his wife Pamela Smith of East Walpole, Lisa & her husband Steven Roberts of Marshfield, and Tracey & her husband Craig Bradley of Plainville. Cherished grandmother of 16 Sister of Barbara & her husband George Levya of New Durham, New Hampshire, Norman & his wife Linda Ross of W. Seneca, New York, Elizabeth & her husband Joseph Sparrow of Mansfield,and Paul & his wife Barbara Ross of Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Mass that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church on Wednesday Morning, August 2, 2005 @ 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, August 1, 2006 from 4 to 8 in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, Massachusetts.
