Dorothy A. Pulling

Mrs. Dorothy A. (Parsons) Pulling age 79 years died on Wednesday Evening June 11th, 2008 in the Newton Wellesley Hospital, Newton, Massachusetts. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on July 17, 1928 , to her parents the late Charels A. and Agnes Ceclia (Flynn) Parsons. She was raised in Norwood and graduated from Norwood High School with the Class of 1946. Entered Fisher College in Boston and graduated with the Class of 1948.

She has been a resident of Walpole since 1959 moving here from Millis and Norwood.

After Fisher College she worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the Department of Public Health. For most of her adult life, she was the office manager for the Glynn Automotive Stores, having worked there for over 30 years.

Her hobbies included counted cross stitching, needlepoint, she was an avid reader and once she could not see well enough to read she would listen to books on tape. Mrs. Pulling kept in contact with her children and especially her grandchildren , her online friends though her computer. She also loved to play games on the computer.

Beloved wife of the late Lawton David Pulling Loving mother of David J. and his wife Somnuk Pulling of Norwood, Timothy M. Pulling and his wife Mary Anne Squillace of Franklin, and Karen A. Pulling of Walpole. Cherished grandmother of Nelson, Nigel, and Jessica Sister of Agnes Pulling of Michigan, and the late Charles Parsons, Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Saint Catherine of Siena Church Washington Street (Rt 1A) Norwood on Monday, June 16, 2008 @ 9AM.
