Mrs. Dorothy L. (Russell) Kent age 87 years died in the Caritas Norwood Hospital on Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Born in Brookline, Massachusetts on December 12, 1921, she was the daughter of William and Ada (Montgomery) Russell. Raised in Brookline, She graduated from Brookline High School with the Class of 1939.

A resident of Walpole for the past 11 years moving here from Weymouth, where she had lived for over 50 years.

She was crystal technician for ESL and retired from Microsonics in Weymouth.

Mrs. Kent enjoyed doing her crafts, was a talented Folk Art Painter, and enoyed her CB radio friends. She and her husband enjoyed square dancing. Her greatest love was for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late Arthur Henry Kent, Sr. Loving mother of Arthur H. and his wife Marie Kent, Jr. of Peabody, Judith E. and her husband Ronald Pellegrini of Aurora, TX, Russell H. and his wife Karen Kent of Holbrook, Carol L. and her husband Harold Donovan of Walpole and Kenneth W. Kent of Marshfield. Cherished grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 11 Good friend of Elsie Calari of Walpole

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in Saint Mary's Church 176 Washington Street East Walpole on Saturday, November 21, 2009 @ 9AM. Visiting hours are Friday, November 20, 2009, from 4pm to 8pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole . Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, Massachusetts.
