Dorothy A. Kearns

Dorothy A. "Dolly" (Rozon) Kearns age 86 years died in the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 18, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Arthur B. and Gertrude (Heider) Rozon. She graduated from Brookline High School with the class of 1944. She has been a resident of East Walpole, Massachusetts since 1958 moving from Brighton.

Mrs. Kearns worked at Ashmont Discount in Walpole as a bookkeeper for 9 years. She had also worked at the Pewter Pot in Walpole.

She enjoyed live music, line dancing, and going for coffee with her lifelong friends.

Dolly was a very charitable person, who lovingly touched the hearts of everyone she came into contact with.

Beloved wife of the late William J. "Bill" Kearns. Loving mother of Robert W. Kearns and Michael J. Kearns both of Walpole. Sister of Mary Martino of Watertown, Robert Rozon of TX, Donald Rozon of Natick, Nancy Fraser of Bellingham, James Rozon of FL, the late William Rozon, the late Alyce Hart, the late Jean McAndrew, the late Rita Varnum, and the late John B. "Jack" Rozon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Church 176 Washington Street E. Walpole on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours are Monday, November 26, 2012 from 4-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole.
