MRS. DORIS A. (WALKER) GIRVAN PASSED AWAY IN THE CARITAS NORWOOD HOSPITAL ON MONDAY AUGUST 8, 2005, SHE WAS 81. Born and Educated in Illinois, she moved to Roslindale were she spent 24 years before moving to Walpole, where she has lived for the past 39 years.

Beloved wife of George W. Girvan Loving mother of Michael Girvan of Walpole, Doris Meagher, Dianne Collins, Paul Girvan, all of Norwood, Dennis Girvan of Whitman, Thomas Girvan of N. Attleboro, Donna LeClerc of Plainville, Dorothy Moran of Hingham, Deborah Backoff of NH, and George Girvan of Attleboro Cherished grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 11 Sister of Martha Pryor of MI, Warren Walker, and Russell Walker both of IL Also survived by several nieces and nephews

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church Walpole on Thursday @ 10AM. Visiting Hours are Private. Interment in Saint Francis Cemetery Walpole.
