Donald T. LeBlanc age 74 years died in his East Walpole, Massachusetts home on Saturday, April 25, 2009. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 14, 1934. He graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1952, and was later inducted in the Walpole High School Hall of Fame. Following high school, Mr. LeBlanc served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He has been a resident of East Walpole since 1950.
He worked as a film editor for ABC in New York followed by CBS in Washington, DC. After leaving CBS he did some free lance work for Channel 56 in Boston.
Devoted son of Sophie "Sally" (Barkus) LeBlanc of Walpole and the late Nelson LeBlanc. Cousin of Beverly Barkus of Brighton.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Interment is in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton, Massachusetts. Memorial donations may be made to: Caritas Good Samaritan Hospice 3 Edgewater Drive Norwood, Massachusetts 02062.
