Domenica Fitzgerald

Domenica (Scarfi) Fitzgerald age 69 years died in the Naples Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family on April 4, 2010. Born in New York City, New York on February 10, 1941; she was the daughter of the late Michele and Angelina (Giacoppo) Scarfi. She has been a resident of Naples, Florida for the past 10 years, and had previously resided in Wood Ridge, New Jersey.

She was an Office Manager for the Howmedica Company in New Jersey for 15 years.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was a devoted mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and friend. She loved to cook and make people feel special and comfortable. She was very passionate about arts and crafts, gardening, and arranging flowers.

She had a stong devotion to Saint Padre Pio.

Beloved wife of John L. "Jack" Fitzgerald. Loving mother of Mark J. Fitzgerald of East Hanover, NJ and Jacqueline A. Groden of Walpole. Cherished grandmother of Daniella, Krista, and Lyndsey Fitzgerald all of East Hanover, NJ and Phillip and Haley Groden both of Walpole. Sister of John Scarfi of Paramus, NJ and Frank Scarfi of Mahwah, NJ.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Church 176 Washington Street East Walpole on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours are Monday, April 19, 2010 from 5-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Terrace Hill Cemetery in Walpole, Massachusetts.
