David Thomas Reilly

Mr. David Thomas Reilly , 83 years old, passed away on August 22, 2010, at his home surrounded by his children. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 27, 1927. He was the son of Ethel Boutelle and John Elmer Reilly. Dave Graduated from Brooklyn Preparatory School in 1945, after high school he went into the Untied States Army and served his country in Korea. Once he was discharged he obtained his degree from Fordham University, graduating in 1951. He moved to Massachusetts with his young family and lived in Walpole for the past 53 years. Dave was a textile salesman in the New England area and also worked at the Foxboro Racetrack and the Suffolk Downs Racetrack for many years. he was a loyal member of the Blessed Sacrament Church, where he was a volunteer for Bingo. His children can still see him mowing his lawn and being around the house for them. An avid football fan. He is survived by Dorothy Gill and his 11 children Rosemary, Kathy, John, Lisa, Lynn, Andy, Gerry, Jeanne, Nora, Ann and Daisy. Cherished grandfather of 17 with one more on the way and great grandfather of 1 Also survived by many nieces and nephews Funeral from the James H Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Thursday August 26, 2010, at 8AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route #27) at Diamond Street Walpole at 9AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited visiting hours are Wednesday August 25, 2010, from 4pm to 8pm. interment Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne, Massachusetts .
