David Feick Kendall, son of John P. and Nancy F. Kendall, of Marion, MA, died July 8, 2011, in a boating accident in Gloucester, Massachusetts. He was forty eight years old, and lived in Yarmouth, Maine.
He is survived by his widow, Dana Haight Kendall, and three children---Daniel Henry Kendall, 16, Hannah Colleen Kendall, 15, and Samuel John Kendall, 15 months.
David is also survived by his brother Andrew Way Kendall, his sister Sarah Kendall Mitchell and many loved nieces and nephews.
David was graduated from Deerfield Academy in 1981, Texas A&M in 1985, and Pepperdine University with an MBA in 1992.
His work experience includes Western Sod of Casa Grande, Arizona, the Carrier Division of United Technology in Syracuse, New York, Singapore, and Mexico City, Mexico. He was General Manager for Kaiser Aluminum in Chandler, Arizona and Newark, Ohio. Finally, in Maine, he was a consultant for Hodgdon Yachts.
He was a licensed boat Captain, whose interests included scuba diving, snow sports, wood working, and small boat sailing. He was a member of the Beverly Yacht Club and Sippican Tennis Club of Marion, Massachusetts, and the Portland Yacht Club of Falmouth Foreside, Maine. He had just skippered his sailboat in the Marion to Bermuda Race.

Interment plans call for cremation followed by a scattering of his ashes at a time and place yet to be determined.
