David Harry Broccoli, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on April 27, 1962, he was the son of Roland Joseph and Drucilla E. (Shank) Broccoli. He was raised in Walpole, Massachusetts and graduated from Tri County Regional Vocational Technical High School with the Class of 1980. Following his graduation, David took a position with Motorola Codex in Mansfield.
David's career later led him to Putnam Investments in Norwood, and he went on to make his home in Foxborough. Most recently, David was working with FIS in Canton and settled into his home in North Attleborough, Massachusetts with his fiancé, Vicky.
Throughout his life, David was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed getting together with his buddies for a pickup game of football or hockey. To stay at the top of his game, David could be found in working out at the gym, listening to all the hit songs of the 70s and 80s. In later years, David took up golf, looking forward to spending the day on the course with his brother and friends. David's love for sports carried through to his home life, as an avid Boston sports fan. David was always following the Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox, and Patriots.
Devoted son of Drucilla E. (Shank) Broccoli of Walpole and the late Roland Joseph Broccoli; and brother of Michael A. Broccoli and his wife, Patricia, of Walpole, Denise M. Broccoli of Walpole, and the late Charles R. Broccoli.
Cherished uncle of Jenna M. Langwell of Attleboro, and Michael C. Broccoli of Walpole; and great uncle of Gabriella R. Langwell.
Beloved fiancé of Maria Victoria "Vicky" Castillo of North Attleboro; and stepfather of Cristina Tiza of Nashville, Tennessee, and Brian Tiza and his wife, Samantha, and their children, Julian Cruz, Preston Cruz and Brandon Cruz pf Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
Also survived by his in-laws, Marleny Castillo, Medaly Castillo, and Jamie Castillo.
At the request of David's family, all services will be private with interment taking place in Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole.
