ARMSTRONG, Corinne E. (Richard) of Walpole, died on May27, 2010, in the Boston Medical Center, at the age of 69. Beloved wife of James Joseph Armstrong Jr. Loving mother of James J. Armstrong, III of Chicopee, Christopher C. Armstrong and his wife Martha of Norton, Holli H. Armstrong of Walpole, Timothy T. Armstrong and his wife Gina of Tewksbury, Erin E. Armstrong of Lexington, Amy A. McDonnell and her husband Sean of Marshfield, Peter P. Armstrong of Walpole, Daniel D. Armstrong of Norton, Sean S. Armstrong and his wife Julie of Canton, Meghan M. Armstrong of Walpole, Caitlin C. Armstrong of Walpole, Courtney C. Brennan and her husband Scott of Franklin. Devoted grandmother "Mimi" of Justin, Lauren, Anna, Katherine, Colleen, Jack, Michaela, and Dylan. Proud sister of Gerard A. Richard of Newburyport. Also survived by 5 nieces and nephews and many friends. A registered nurse by trade, she worked at St. Elizabeth's Hospital and Walpole Pediatric Association. She ended her working career as an Instructional Assistant at Walpole High School. She was a double lung transplant survivor performed at the University of Pittsburg Medical Center in 2008. Born in Amesbury, Massachusetts the daughter of Hector and Louise (O'Leary) Richard. She graduated from Amesbury High School with the Class of 1959 and from Saint Elizabeth's School of Nursing , with the Class of 1962. A resident of Walpole for the past 35 years. She was a member of the Lafayette Ladies . She loved to knit and her greatest joy came from her grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Church of the Blessed Sacrament, East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 11AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday, June 1st from 3pm to 8pm, in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. .
