Claire M. Connors

Claire M. (Quigley) Connors age 82 years died in The Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wretham, Massachusetts on November 12, 2012. Born in Quincy, Massachusetts on June 19, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Helen (Connaughton) Quigley. She graduated from the Dorchester High School for Girls with the class of 1948, where she served as the Class President. She has been a resident of Sharon since 1952 moving there from Dorchester.

Mrs. Connors was primarily a homemaker for all of her adult life, raising and caring for her family. In addition, she worked as the secretary of the Janet Hershman School of Dance for many years.

She enjoyed sewing and most of all loved spending time with her family.

Beloved wife of the late William E. Connors, Jr. Loving mother of William E. Connors, III and his wife Rosie of Naples, FL, Edward R. Connors and his wife Susan of Sharon, Janet M. Hershman and her husband Bob of Sharon, and Robert A. Connors and his wife Beth of Easton. Cherished grandmother of 8 and great gramndmother of 6. Sister of Ralph Quigley of Marston Mills and Naples, FL.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Church 59 Cottage Street Sharon on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 4-7 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Rock Ridge Cemetery in Sharon.
