Cheryl A. Macalone

May 20, 1952 — January 18, 2009

Mrs. Cheryl A. (Wool) Macalone age 56 years died in her Norfolk Home on Sunday Morning, January 18, 2009. Born in South Boston, Massachusetts on May 20, 1952, to her parents the late Donald F. and Marie (Gallagher) Wool. She was a 1970 graduate of South Boston High School.

Mrs. Macalone has been in the real estate business for 25 years, with the first 15 years of those years being devoted to managing Boomer Real Estate. She was a member of our Re/Max Executive Realty family and partnered with her loving husband, John, for the past 10 years. Cheryl was more than just a real estate agent. She was a mentor, a friend, a sister-broker, and a loving wife and partner. Cheryl was a leader in business, a tower of strength for her family and a devoted loving friend to everyone who knew her.

A resident of Norfolk, since 1984, Cheryl enjoyed traveling, and boating, she and her husband own a boat named the Lady Mac in Marina Bay, Quincy, Massachusetts. The one thing that made Cheryl the happiest was her two grandchildren.

Belove wife of John L. Macalone. Loving mother of Keli A. Hosford of Bellingham, and the late Jaime M. Macalone. Cherished grandmother of Timothy Macalone and Andrew Hosford. Sister of Donna Daley of Brockton, James Wool of Quincy, Stephen Wool of Northfield, Ill, and Mary Nee of South Boston. Daughter of Mary Wool of South Boston.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the St. Mary's Church One Church Square Franklin on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 11AM. Visiting hours are Wednesday, January 21, 2009 from 4 pm to 8pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is in Saint Mary's Cemetery Franklin. Memorial donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Study c/o Dr. David Ryan 55 Fruit Street Boston, Massachusetts 02114.
