Cheryl Mason (Murdock) Brady, age 49, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 in her Millis home. Born on March 26, 1972 in at Norwood Hospital, Cheryl was the daughter of Dennis and Sara “Penny” (Mason) Murdock. She grew up in Walpole alongside her brother, David. Cheryl attended Walpole High School where she rooted for the Rebels as a cheerleader. She played basketball and field hockey in her sophomore year and was a member of the graduating Class of 1990.

After graduation, Cheryl went to Blaine Academy in Boston where she studied hairdressing, quickly getting a job with Lord’s & Lady’s Hair Salon in West Roxbury. Not long after, Cheryl went to work with her mother at HNU Systems in Newton, testing environmental equipment until she found a position in advertising and marketing at Hajar Associates Inc. in Norwood.

Cheryl met Kenneth P. Brady at a Fourth of July cookout in Walpole, marrying a few short years later on September 23, 1995 at the Union Congregational Church in East Walpole. She worked up until the birth of their first daughter, becoming a homemaker for her two girls until they were old enough to go to school. She cherished her time at home with her children. Cheryl went to school to become an Emergency Medical Technician, successfully earning her certification and promptly working for Fallon Ambulance Services up to the present.

Above all else, Cheryl loved her children. Nicole and Lauren filled her life with so much joy and happiness. She was always happy to share stories of her girls, proudly cheering on Nicole at hockey games and Lauren in her gymnastics. Cheryl loved taking them on trips to anywhere warm, making each one their own adventure no matter where they went. She could light up any room she walked into with her blooming personality and infectious laugh.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Ken and her beloved daughters Nicole and Lauren. She is also survived by her brother Dave, his wife Lindsey and nephews Creighton and Alexander, her Aunt Jane, cousin Donna, Brian, and his wife Leslie. She was the daughter of the late Dennis and Sara “Penny” (Mason) Murdock.
