Celia A. Pacella

Celia Ann (DiPlacido) Pacella age 91 years died in Franklin, Massachusetts on Saturday, March 7, 2009. Born in Walpole, Massachusetts on September 26, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Camillo and Consigla (Dicenso) DiPlacido. She had previously lived in Walpole, Massachusetts, Dedham,Massachusetts, Plainville, Massachusetts and Deerfield Beach, Florida.

Mrs. Pacella spent her life caring for her family in addition to supporting her husband in his many ventures.

She was a member of the Sons of Italy Walpole Foxboro Lodge # 2641.

Mrs. Pacella enjoyed playing bocce, entertaining, traveling, and the casino lifestyle.

Beloved wife of the late Michael Pacella. Loving mother of Michael Pacella, Jr. of Westford, Joseph Pacella of Middleboro, Richard M. Pacella of Foxborough, and the late Elizabeth Cipolla. Cherished grandmother of 12, great grandmother of 18, and great great grandmother of 1. Sister of Wordi DiPlacido of Wrentham, the late Emilio DiPlacido, and the late Mary Fabrizo.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from 3-8 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is in Shepardville Cemetery in Plainville, Massachusetts.
