Catherine A. Yeomans, age 82, passed away in the Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts on Sunday, August 2, 2015. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 9, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Grace A. (Fitzpatrick) Burns. She graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School with the class of 1950. She has been a resident of Westwood for the past 18 years and had previously resided in Walpole, Norwood, and Roslindale.
She spent her adult life as a homemaker, raising and caring for her family. As a devoted Catholic, she was a member of Saint Timothy's Church in Norwood.
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth G. Yeomans.
Loving mother of Kathleen A. Hallion and her husband Robert of Walpole and Kenneth G. Yeomans, Jr. of Fort Myers, FL.
Cherished grandmother of Kenneth R. Yeomans of Swampscott, Robert M. Hallion of Franklin, Kimberly A. Demur of Enfield, CT, and Daniel T. Hallion of Walpole and great grandmother of Raegan E. Hallion.
Sister of the late Robert Burns, Sr.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Catherine's Life Celebration on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 4 to 7 PM and Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 9 to 9:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common St., Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Timothy's Church, Nichols Street, Norwood on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Mount Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Catholic Charities of Boston, 51 Sleeper Street, Boston, MA 02210.
