Carol Ann (Cappellotti) Oram, age 77, passed away peacefully in the Maples Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wrentham, Massachusetts on Friday, February 9, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 30, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Wanda (Newyano) Cappellotti. She was raised in West Roxbury and graduated from West Roxbury High School with the Class of 1958. After graduation, Carol took a position with the Jordan Marsh Company in downtown Boston working as a hairdresser.
Carol married her beloved husband, Earl F. Oram, on September 2, 1962 in Saint John's Church in West Roxbury. The young couple made their home in Walpole, Massachusetts, where Carol took on the role of a homemaker, raising and caring for her young family on Domenica Road. After her children had grown up, Carol returned to work, taking a position with the Mar- El Jewelry Company in Walpole.
In her later years, Carol became an active member of the Walpole Council on Aging and took advantage of many of the programs that were offered, including taking day trips with friends and venturing out on group walks. Carol enjoyed her quiet time as well, and as a lover of animals, spent countless hours watching the local birds. More than anything, Carol loved being surrounded by her family and after welcoming her grandchildren, treasured every minute that she spent with them.
