Carol A. (Maciejko) Murphy, age 59, died in her Norfolk, Massachusetts home on Thursday, March 5, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 9, 1955, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Sullivan) Maciejko. She spent her early childhood in Dorchester before her family moved to Jamaica Plain in 1966. She graduated from Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, where she was a member of the Color Guard, with the Class of 1973. After high school, Carol continued her education at the Boston Business School earning her certificate in Accounting in 1975. Once earning her certificate, Carol earned a job with Filene’s in the Payroll Department.
