Born in Rutland, Vermont on May 8, 1982, she was the daughter of James L. and Shannon N. (Bascue) Huntington. She was also a four-year participant in the New York Summer Empire State Games where she was a two-time medalist in the javelin throw. She graduated in 2000 and was awarded a full scholarship to play softball for Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire, where in her first collegiate game, she pitched a no hitter.
After transferring to Framingham State University and settling in Norwood, Massachusetts, Brit met her husband to be, Michael J. Bardol, in 2005. In addition to attending classes, she began working alongside Mike as the Office Manager of Bardol Concrete. She completed her course work at Framingham State in 2006, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Brit and Mike were married on August 28, 2009 and shortly after welcomed their first daughter, Molly. Brittan loved being a Mom and spent 4 years at home caring for Molly. She returned to the working world in 2014, serving as the office manager for Clifford Paving in Walpole. In 2015, she and Mike welcomed their second daughter, Madeline. Her girls were Brit's pride and joy, she was a wonderful mom, spending countless hours playing with them.
One of her favorite things to do was experiment in the kitchen, which usually resulted in fantastic food. She enjoyed watching cooking shows to gather new recipes and loved trying them out with family and friends. As a young woman, she developed a great sense of humor and was the person that everyone wanted to be around.
