Brenda E. (Graham) Roberts, age 63, passed away in the Norwood Hospital on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on August 25, 1955, she was the daughter of Daniel Hugh Graham and Dorothy (Johnstone) Graham. She was raised in South Walpole, Massachusetts and graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1974. Following graduation, Brenda took a position with Howard Johnson’s on Route 1 in Walpole, working as a waitress.
Brenda married her beloved husband, James L. “Hat” Roberts, Jr., on October 7, 1978 in Blessed Sacrament Church in Walpole. Together they made their home in Walpole before purchasing their house in Foxborough. In 1988, Brenda and Hat settled in Wrentham, Massachusetts, where they enjoyed 30 years together.
Brenda spent most of her working career in the printing industry, taking a position with Unisource in Southborough in 2000, working as the Publishing Account Manager. In 2002, Brenda left Unisource, taking a job with Artco Offset Inc. in Canton. She held several positions with Artco over the years, including working as a purchasing agent. Brenda retired in 2016, after 14 years of dedicated service to Artco. In addition to her full-time position, Brenda took on a part time bartending position with the Rooster on Route 1 in Wrentham. Her bartending position led her to volunteer countless hours for various charity events supported by the Rooster.
When she wasn’t hard at work, Brenda loved spending time with Hat on his many hunting trips. They especially enjoyed hunting trips to South Carolina and motorcycle rides to Canada. Back at home, Brenda enjoyed relaxing with her dogs and cats. More recently, Brenda enjoyed crafting and painting.

Devoted daughter of Dorothy (Johnstone) Jensen and the late Daniel H. Graham.
Loving sister of Daniel Graham of Lynn, David Jensen of South Carolina, and stepsister of Richard Jensen of Walpole, Carolyn Jensen of Texas, Stephen Jensen of Foxborough, the late Robert “Jerry” Johnstone, and the late Janet Jensen.
Also survived by many members of her extended family and many friends.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Brenda’s Life Celebration on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 2 to 5 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of Brenda’s family.
