Beverly A. Fucile

Beverly A. (Thomas) Fucile, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Mass General Hospital in Boston. Born in Boston, Beverly was born on July 4, 1940 as the only child to John and Nellie (Pauluskas) Thomas. Beverly attended the Gate of Heaven High School in South Boston, graduating with the Class of 1958.
Beverly met Ronald A. Fucile and the couple got married on September 14, 1963 at Gate of Heaven Church in South Boston. Beverly and Ron moved to Walpole in 1970 to raise their young family. She quickly went to work becoming a member of her community by getting a job for the Town of Walpole School System, working there for over 41 years until her retirement from the Boyden School in June of 2018. She was an avid member of Saint Mary’s Church in East Walpole, taking part as a member of the Saint Mary’s Fall Fair committee. A voracious reader, Beverly remained an active member of her book club well into her retirement. Bev could always be found with a book in her hand.
She loved her children and grandchildren dearly.

Beloved mother of Cara L. Fucile of Fall River and the late Christopher A. Fucile. 
Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Noble and husband, Gregory, of Walpole.
Great-grandmother of Paul and Izabela.
At the request of Beverly’s family, all services and interment will be private. A Celebration of Beverly's life will be held at a later date. Donation checks in Beverly’s honor may be made payable to the Town of Walpole, Boyden School Library,  135 School Street, Walpole, MA 02081.
