BERNARD F. "Bunny" SPILLANE AGE 87 YEARS DIED AT Caritas Norwood Hospital, Norwood Massachusetts on Sunday, February 5th, 2006. . Born in Walpole, he was a 1938 graduate of Walpole High School. He later graduated from Burdette Business School in Boston, Class of 1940.

Mr. Spillane worked for over 43 years and retired in 1983 as a foreman for the Kendall Mills Company in Walpole. He had worked part time at Wayside Flowers in Walpole while his children were growing up.

Mr. Spillane loved to garden, loved animals, traveling ,playing cards, and watching sports . Mr. Spillane was a true townie (Walpole). A member of the Walpole Knights of Columbus #1319 . Above all he loved his family, his wife, children and especially his grand and great grandchildren.

Beloved husband of the late Anne Rita (O'Toole) Spillane loving father of Anne Marie Nicholson of Plymouth, Barbara J. Quinn of Chatham, NY, Bernard F. Spillane, Jr. of Norwood, Claire E. Nota , Patricia A. Zappi both of East Walpole and Peter T. Spillane of Walpole Cherished grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 2

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church Walpole on Thursday, February 9, 2006 @ 10. Visiting hours are Wednesday Afternoon, February 8, 2006 from 4pm to 8pm. In the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Saint Francis Cemetery Walpole.
