BENJAMIN F. GREENE, III AGE 58 YEARS died unexpectedly in his Norwood Home on Wednesday, April 25th, 2007. Born on November 18, 1948, in Boston, Massachusetts the son of the late Benjamin Franklin Greene, Jr. and the late Marjorie R. (Ritchie) Greene.

A 1966 graduate of Canton High School , he earned his Psychology Degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1970.

A letter carrier for the United States Postal Service, Burlington, Massachusetts, where he has over 25 years of service.

A resident of Norwood since 1982

Mr. Greene enjoyed tending his vegetable garden, talking politics with friends and family. He was an avid reader. He also enjoyed sports especially football. Avid reader

Beloved husband of Patricia Hawkins Greene Loving father of Michael W. Greene of Norwood Brother of Susan M. Greene of California, and Marcia V. DiMaria & her husband Joseph of Norwood. Son in law of Mary A. (Donahue) Hawkins of Norwood Brother in law of William G. Hawkins, Jr. & his wife MaryLou of Foxboro, Jeanne M. Campbell of Foxboro. Also survived by 3 nieces, 4 nephews and 1 great nephew.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Saint Catherine of Siena Church Washington Street (Route 1A) Norwood on Monday, April 30, 2007 @ 9 AM. Visiting hours are Sunday, April 29, 2007 from 2PM to 6PM at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Private.
