Beatrice E. (Davis) Kingsbury, age 97, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, March 25, 2016. Born in Boston on March 3, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Max and Hazel A. (Kief) Davis. She was raised in Dorchester with her grandparents, and at times various aunts and uncles, during the Great Depression and attended Boston Public Schools.
As a young woman, she married her husband Arthur Brooks and together they made their home in Dedham, Massachusetts. After Arthur passed away at the young age of 29, Bea married William F. Kingsbury in 1949, remaining in Dedham to raise their family.
In the early 1980's, Bea and her husband William moved to Cranberry Village in Carver and began traveling across the country in their motor home, "The Good Life." Bea also enjoyed camping at Cranberryville Campground in Carver for over 20 years, where she was joined by at least 6 variations of her extended family. She later began camping at Normandy Farms in Foxboro with her family, where she enjoyed her own camper up until this past July.
Bea's family meant everything to her. She loved hosting and cooking for holidays even into her 80's as well as attending every family function that she could.
