MRS. BEATRICE ELEANOR (ELIASON) BABCOCK PASSED AWAY IN THE THOMAS UPHAM HOUSE IN MEDFIELD ON MONDAY, AUGUST 22, 2005. SHE WAS 95. Born in Salem, she graduated from Peabody High School. She moved to Walpole in 1950.

Mrs. Babcock worked for 17 years as a secretary for the Research and Development Department of Bird Machine Company in Walpole.

She was a member of the Ladies Sodality of Saint Mary's Church, and a Communicate of Blessed Sacrament Church. Mrs. Babcock was a supporter of the Jesuit Seminary Guild. She also loved watching the Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots.

Beloved wife of the late George V. Babcock Loving mother of George V. Babcock, Jr., of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, and Ronald G. Babcock of Dover Cherished grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 7.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church on Friday, August 26th, 2005@ 10AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited An hour Of visitation will be held before the mass from 8:30-9:30AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment in Saint Francis Cemetery Walpole.
