Barbara L. (Conroy) Hall, age 90, died in her Walpole, Massachusetts home on Thursday, March 26, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Portland, Maine on November 8, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Thomas P. and Abby M. (Noyes) Conroy. She graduated from Somerville High School with the class of 1942. Barbara has been a resident of Walpole since 1986 moving from Canton, Massachusetts.
In 1943, Barbara began her career as a traffic manager with the First Naval District in Boston. She retired in 1974 after 31 years of dedicated service.
After her retirement, she became very active in her community. She was a member of the ProPoPe Group in Norwood, the Walpole Historical Society, and The Seekers Writer's Group in Walpole. Barbara was also a devoted member of the Walpole Women's Club and held various positions, including Federation Secretary and Corresponding Secretary. In addition, as an avid gardener, she was a life time member of the Sharon Garden Club.
In her spare time, Barbara enjoyed reading both literature and poetry, painting with water colors, and was a lapidary enthusiast.

Loving stepmother of Mary E. Frazier of Norton, Nancy A. Hall of South Easton, Joseph F. Hall, Jr. of Englewood, FL, Michael R. Hall of Attleboro and Patricia M. Hall of Providence, RI.
Cherished grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 5.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for an hour of visitation on Monday from 8:30 to 9:30AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond Street, Walpole on Monday at 10AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: The Massachusetts Humane Society, P.O. Box 890127, East Weymouth, MA 02189.
