Arthur F. Verrochi Sr, age 87, of Walpole, MA passed away on Monday, June 01, 2020 at his home in Walpole, Massachusetts, surrounded by his loving family.  Born in his parent's East Walpole, Massachusetts home on March 31, 1933, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary K. (Romanelli) Verrochi.  He was raised in East Walpole and graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1952.  Following his graduation, Arthur took a position in the Walpole Center A&P Supermarket, working as a stock clerk.  In April of 1953, Arthur was drafted into the United States Army, where he proudly served his country during the Korean War.  He was honorably discharged in March of 1955, after earning the rank of Sergeant.

Later that year, Arthur married his beloved wife, Dorothy L. Hentschel, on July 10, 1955 in Saint Catherine's Church in Norwood.  The young couple made their home together in Walpole, where they welcomed five children, Deborah, Arthur, Jr., Diane, John, and Jeffrey.  Arthur took a position with F.M. Hill Machine Shop on School Street in Walpole, working as a mechanic.  He maintained his position with the machine shop after it was sold to Ingersoll Rand, retiring in 1995, after 40 years of service.

Arthur enjoyed living a simple life, spending time with his wife and family and always ensuring his yard was meticulously maintained.
