Arthur J. Piccirilli

Mr. Arthur J. Piccirilli, Jr., age 56 years, died suddenly in the Boca Raton Community Hospital, Boca Raton, Florida, on Friday, March 27, 2009. He was born in Brighton, Massachusetts, on March 28, 1952, to his parents, the late Arthur J. and Anne Marie (Duonolo) Piccirilli. He graduated in 1969 from English High School.

He has been a member of Local 4 of the IUOE Boston, where he was a heavy-equipment operator. He has been a resident of Walpole since 1990, moving here from Brighton.

Mr. Piccirilli enjoyed working on his classic cars, playing the piano, and working around the house, which he built in 1989. His greatest love and joy came from being with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary C. (Rufo) Piccirilli, loving children, Anthony J. Piccirilli and Sam R. Piccirilli, all of Walpole, sister, Mary Susan Rand, and brothers, John A. Piccirilli, and James E. Piccirilli, all of Waltham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Saint Edward the Confessor Church, 133 Spring Street (Rt. 27), Medfield, on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours are Tuesday, March 31, 2009, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. Internment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Walpole.
