Arthur H. Marinelli

June 17, 1924 — August 5, 2013

Arthur H. Marinelli, age 89 years, died in the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Monday, August 5, 2013. Born in Keisterville, Pennsylvania on June 17, 1924, he was raised in Uniontown, PA and graduated from South Union High School with the class of 1942. After high school, Arthur proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He was stationed in the United States and served as an airplane and engine mechanic. He was discharged in 1946 as a Sergeant. Arthur continued his education at Waynesburg College and graduated in 1951 with a BS in Education. He relocated to Walpole, Massachusetts in 1949.

He was the co-owner of RenMar Realty and has a passion for contruction and landscaping. He enjoyed tending to his Vegetable Garden every year.

Arthur was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1319 in Walpole. He loved animals and was an avid fan of horse and dog racing. As an excellent artist, he could draw anything. Most of all, Arthur loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Devoted son of the late Joseph and Anna (Leone) Marinelli. Loving brother of the late Viola Marinelli, the late Patsy Marinelli, the late Donald Marinelli, the late Flora Marinelli, the late Ruth Marinelli, the late Thomas Marinelli, the late Robert W. Marinelli, and the late Velma Jean Rossi. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Arthur's Life Celebration on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 9:30 a'" 11:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Jude's Church 86 Main Street Norfolk on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Franklin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Maples 90 Taunton Street Wrentham, MA 02093.
