Arlene L. (DeMichele) Turco, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, Massachusetts surrounded by her family. Born in Walpole, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Mary (Romano) DeMichele. She was raised in Walpole where she graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1959. Following her graduation, Arlene began her career with Factory Mutual in Norwood, later taking a transfer to their sister company, Allendale, in Rhode Island.
Arlene married her beloved husband, Peter Joseph Turco, at Blessed Sacrament Church in Walpole. Together, they made their home in Walpole, where they welcomed their son, Gregory. She filled the role of administrative assistant at Sullivan Construction in Walpole and Sunbird Trucking in East Walpole before her retirement.
Throughout her life, Arlene enjoyed spending time outdoors, tending to her flower beds and ensuring her yard was immaculate. Arlene was a member of the Italian American Club in Walpole, where she spent many evenings with friends on the bocce courts and looked forward to many trips with her fellow members. Arlene was involved with the Walpole Senior Center joining friends for various trips onboard the center's bus.
Most of all, Arlene was devoted to her family, treasuring the time she spent with those she loved. Her house was the place to be on Christmas Eve, as she welcomed her family in for their annual holiday dinner and celebration. Arlene was delighted at the birth of her grandchildren, Matthew and Luke, always enjoying time spent with them.

Cherished grandmother of Matthew and Luke.
Sister of Robert DeMichele of Millis, Francine DeMichele of Walpole, the late Rosemarie DeMichele, the late Rudy DeMichele Jr. and his late wife, Eileen, and the late Pauline DeMichele.
Sister-in-law of Maura Dwyer and her late husband, John, of Walpole, Patricia Johnson and her husband, David, of Walpole, and Robert Turco and his wife, Kathy, of Walpole.
Devoted aunt of Linda Wilcox and her husband, Kenneth, of Blackstone, Alan DeMichele and his wife, Sharon, of Croton, New York, Kathleen Consigli and her husband, Matthew, of Wellesley, Jack Dwyer and his wife, Tara, of Walpole, Meghan Walsh and her husband, Daniel, of California, and Ellen DeGirolamo and her husband, Robert, of Walpole.
Also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Arlene's Life Celebration on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, from 9 to 11 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond Street, Walpole at 11:30 AM and interment will take place at Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole.
